Morocco has many crumbling ruins of Kasbahs that reveal the character and cultural climate of an age long past. This one is located along the route from Fez to Merzouga (a town located on the dunes of the Sahara). Its backdrop is particularly striking with rock strata engraved into the surrounding barrenness.
